Programme description
The Bachelor of Commerce is a career-oriented degree which provides a foundation in all aspects of commerce. Studying general commerce prepares graduates for a wide range of careers in the business world. B.Com at Amity is designed to provide the student with a wide range of managerial skills while at the same time building competence in a particular area. The programme at Amity University prepares the individual for the modern financial and accounting field.
Amity University Dubai have partnered with Phoenix Financial Training (PFT) to provide B. COM students training for CIMA & ACCA. Students will receive exemptions for CIMA (13 Papers) and ACCA (9 Papers). PFT will also provide classes, revision lessons, question-based sessions and professional marking of all mock examinations, all of which will take place at the Amity University Dubai Campus. Classes will be held weekly and vary from 48 to 72 hours per semester, depending on the nature and complexity of each course. Students will also have access to PFT’s study resources, notes, online practice tests, supplementary online videos and revision material to help prepare for the CIMA or ACCA programme. Please note that exam fees are additional.
